- Designed, implemented and maintained network infrastructure. Software included UNIX, Linux, FreeBSD, Novell IntranetWare and Novell Multiprotocol Router. Hardware included Cisco and Bay Networks routers, AdTran CSU/DSUs and routers, Motorola CSU/DSUs and routers, and Intel-based microcomputers.
- Designed, implemented, and maintained all networking services, including firewalls and servers (file-and-print, SMTP/POP3 e-mail, DNS, news, Web, NFS, and NIS). Software included SAMBA, sendmail, BIND, INN, DNews, Apache, Netscape Commerce Server, Unoverica Mail Transport, and Unoverica DNS.
- Installed leased-line circuits for multiple sites (both internal and client), bandwidth ranging from 56K to DS3.
- Managed assignment of domain names and IP addresses both internally and for clients.
